Greetings from the Philippines
I am sure you have heard the news of how the rain has been effecting the Philippines. Praise God we at the Antipolo Training Center are well and safe. The base has been able to aid also with relief work for the hundreds in need. Last Thursday we were also able to graduate our second batch of nine month SBS students! Benjamin B. (Philippines) and David Y. We are really so proud of them for all their hard work!
We are also excited to inform you that we will be having a short outreach following this school! As far as I am aware it is the first SBS outreach from the Philippines. Benjamin and three staff ladies; Carrie C. (USA), Kristy C. (Singapore), and Pauline C. (Philippines) will be taking the next three weeks to travel up North to Appari. YWAM Philippines has an operating location lead by John P. and our team will be working with him to teach in Churches and help in anyway that they can.
Thanks to all of you who have come out to teach, prayed for us, and been a blessing and support to us throughout the course of this school! We are really so thankful. Now I write to ask for your continued prayers and support. Another storm is scheduled to hit the Northern Philippines at the end of this week. It is our prayer that it will be redirected, knowing that Jesus can calm to storm, we pray He will. The Philippines cannot take another storm, this one is predicted to be worse than the previous! Pray we can still go and be a blessing in Appari! Secondly, our student and staff still have financial needs. So much has come in and we are really at the tail end of this, so pray that fiances will NOT hold us back from this outreach. We need less than $200 USD each to go, in total our need are about $400 USD.
We are excited and expectant for what God is going to do! Thank you again for prayers and support! Blessings
Amaris W. SBS Director
