 Out of the YWAM base in Taiwan God has birthed a vision for reaching the nations with His Word. The SBS has been running seventeen years and has produced many dedicated people to send to the desperately ripe mission fields of Asia. Over the years the base has increased in ministries and has a strong teaching and training emphasis.
The SBS has seen the need in Asia in a unique way and was caught off guard with the enormity of the task. We felt God calling us to be a part of the answer. Last year, a number of us responded and the Lord has risen a new ministry from Taiwan. We call it The Teaching Team, in faith that this is only one of many “teams” that will be started.
The goal of the Teaching Team is to be a community of teachers. We desire to travel together, to be healthy, accountable and engaging in ongoing learning as we go out in small teams, addressing the deprivation of solid Bible teaching throughout the world.
