The chronological version of SBS utilizes the time-tested inductive study methods of SBS and simply rearranges the 66 books of the Bible into the rough chronological order in which the books were written. 

This change allows our students to experience God's interaction with Mankind roughly how it transpired.  Each week continues the story that the students studied the previous week, which creates in our students a sense of anticipation and insistence upon interpreting in the original context.  Because of this order, the students are able to continuously trace the redemptive themes that weave throughout the Bible.  

In the third quarter of CSBS, the students study the New Testament as Jesus' fulfillment and completion of God's Old Testament Promises - the result has been personal application that has revolutionized students' worldview.  

A frequent comment has been that the students feel like they met Jesus for the first time in the third quarter.

Finally, the students finish CSBS with a New Testament zeal for outreach - whether internationally or at their home churches.
