India's constitution provides for freedom of all religions. However, only 2% of the population claims to be Christian and demands for restrictions against Christians are strong. Training of Christian workers is key so that a strong foundation is laid within the church. Hinduism has become global in it's impact and is not just limited to India any longer.

Indonesia has five major religions: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Protestant or Catholic in which all citizens have to choose one. The strength of Islam is apparent with 80% of the population choosing this. Pray for Christian leaders with maturity and a vision for the evangelization of the nation.

Malaysia's official religion is Islam. There is a lack of Christian workers within the nation and decreasing number of missionaries due to visa restrictions. Pray for the mission agencies already within the country. Many young people are studying abroad and accept Christ. Pray for wisdom when they return home.

Mongolia is only .7% Christian. Unemployment and poverty shakes this county. Christianity is new to the country and a Biblical foundation not yet laid. Pray that the truths of the Bible would become a part of Mongolian culture. Cults are having a high influence within the country. Pray that Evangelical groups would be effective in reaching the country.

Philippines has freedom of religion with the Catholic church having the greatest influence. The greatest wealth in this country is it's people. Pray for the government and political greed within the culture. Pray for the training up of new leaders with strong Biblical foundation and integrity in their lives.

Singapore is mainly a Buddhist nation but has freedom of religion. Church growth has recently slowed and the young people becoming disinterested. Pray for a new vision for the church. Bible training is key here also. Singapore can be a strategic base for Christian ministries.

South Korea has religious freedom. The church is strong in this nation and known for it's fervent prayer. Pray that it doesn't lose this heritage. Pray for the 'little foxes' that slip in to destroy: greed, division, control, lack of discipling and Biblical ethics.

Taiwan politically is a "hot potato" in it's relationship with China. It has freedom of religion. Pray for the political issues, a spiritual breakthrough and a mission vision. Many congregations have no Pastors. Pray for training and discipling of leaders willing to become Pastors to these churches.

Thailand has freedom of religion but Christianity represents less thn 2% of the nations population. The majority of the people are Buddhist. Pray for the growth of the church and missions within the nation. Pray for Thai leadership to grow both in numbers and in wisdom.
