Camaroon is a state that guarantees religious freedom. It has seen growth in new churches and evangelistic efforts. Prayer points include a need for Godly leadership, unity among the churches and spiritual poverty and nominal Christianity.

Egypt's state religion is Islam and encompasses 87% of the population. However, the church has survived nearly 2000 years of persecution and is still proclaiming the Gospel through innovated methods. Pray for the persecuted Christians, the unreached people, a mission vision for the church and volunteers who are called to pastor and teach the Word.

Madagascar has religious freedom but the old ethnic fold religions remain strong. Pray for a revival among the Christians and freedom from compromising their beliefs with the superstitious traditions. Theological training is a great need in Madagascar.

Nigeria has seen a rise in the growth of the church. Prayer has been a dominate factor in the political and spiritual changes within the nation. However, continue to pray for the government and political corruption. Pray for the unity and freedom from tribal prejudices. Pray for the church and it's leaders and for balanced teachings.

South Africa's population is 74% Christian. However, healing and reconciliation is a need among the people for the scars of the past. Pray also for a stable government, the economy and AIDS within this nation. Pray for an end to the violence and the resolution of the refugee crisis. Training of Christian leaders and the difficulties faced by ministries are some other prayer challenges.

Tanzania also has religious freedom for both Muslims and Christians. Missionaries in the past have had important roles withing this country but the numbers are falling. Church training facilities and funds are limited and need to be upgraded. Pray for a vision for the future in the nation.

Uganda has gone from persecution of Christians, to favoring Muslims and now to freedom of religion. Recovery from the reigns of terror in the past need healing. The AIDS epidemic over the years has declined but is still widespread and the traumas within families great. Missionaries are being sent from the country short term. Pray for an increasing mission vision.

Zambia in 1991 was dedicated to God as a Christian nation. Pray for the poverty within the nation and the strength of the churches. Leadership training is an important challenge in this nation where syncretism is common. Pray for a mission vision within the church also.
