 Bridge the gap between then and nowWe were very pleased with how everything went with our previous seminars in Greece. We are a small but dynamic team. The participants were, just as the staff, very motivated. Besides enjoying the beautiful surroundings, the nice weather and the Greek food, we were seeing how the Bible came alive for the participants. Although Paul’s letters are written nearly 2000 years ago and addressed to specific churches, they still have something to say to us today. The different excursions, for example to Corinth and Phillippi, and the different lectures inspired us to understand those words written long ago. And we learned how those words can change us now, can build us up and give us direction. Besides the lectures, excursions and Bible study, we also prayed quite a lot for Greece. It is a country that definitely needs the truth and the power of the gospel. Everyone celebrates Easter – we were there during Orthodox Easter – but many don’t know exactly who Jesus is! It was special to bring the Word of God to this country through the lectures and the prayers. From April 15 - May 8, 2010 we plan to have our next SBOL.
